About Square D By Schneider Electric QO120DFC QO 20 Amp

Square D by Schneider Electric QO 20 Amp Single-Pole Dual Function (CAFCI and GFCI) Circuit BreakerDual Function: Combination Arc Fault and Ground Fault Circuit InterrupterSquare D QO 20 Amp Single-Pole CAFCI Circuit BreakerView largerSave time and money with combined Combination Arc Fault Protection and Ground Fault Protection in one device. The innovate Square D QO Dual Function Circuit Breaker saves space and installation time while meeting prevailing National Electric Code requirements. Available in both standard Pigtail and time-saving Plug-on Neutral configurations, these circuit breakers combine two state-of-the-art technologies, Combination Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection, in a single, easy-to-install device. The Dual Function Circuit Breaker offers superior electrical safety for homeowners.(No text entered for this element)The 2014 National Electrical Code now requires both Combination Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection on all 1-Pole, 15 amp, and 20 amp kitchen and laundry circuits. Prior to the release of the Dual Function Circuit Breaker, a contractor or homeowner’s only choice was to use a Combination Arc Fault circuit breaker in conjunction with an expensive, bulky Ground Fault receptacle. The new Dual Function circuit breakers help reduce cost and eliminate the hassle of using two separate devices to provide essential protection. It’s a win for contractors and homeowners alike. Like all Square D CAFCI Circuit Breakers, it is integrated with Time Saver Diagnostics, a unique feature that provides additional circuit information and minimizes troubleshooting at the touch of a button.Meets National Electrical Code requirementsThe single-pole Dual Function circuit breaker is engineered to meet 2014 National Electrical Code requirements and designed to quickly identify and analyze when a hazardous condition exists. Combination Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters (CAFCI) provide the highest level of arc fault protection on the market today, protecting against both serial and parallel arcs for the entire circuit. How does TIME SAVER Diagnostics work?Time Saver Diagnostics identify circuit issues faster. The Time Saver sequence is simple and easy to use, and requires no tools or special training. Simply turn off the circuit breaker, hold down the Push-To-Test button, and then turn the circuit breaker back on. It’s that simple! If the circuit breaker trips immediately, it is detecting a Fault to Ground. If the circuit breaker trips after a 2-second delay; it is detecting an Arc Fault. In either case, it is an indication that there is an issue ON the circuit and NOT with the circuit breaker itself. Time Saver Diagnostics is equipped in all Square D Homeline and QO(B) CAFI Circuit Breakers (1-Pole and 2-Pole) and Dual Function Circuit Breakers with a date code of 1130 or higher. For more information on QO and Homeline Dual Function Circuit Breakers, ask your authorized Schneider Electric distributor.Combine Combination Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection into one circuit breakerView larger(No text entered for this element)(No text entered for this element) Benefits:Saves time — Combination Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection in a single device enables faster installation.
