It is capable of drilling up to 50 feet deep, 4-inch diameter hole into M. Hard soil (with additional rods) for sampling and testing, and water wells. The drilling rig is designed with simplicity in mind for easy assembling and transportation. It is operated by one person to cut the cost of field work. It is so versatile that can be used for subsurface exploration and sampling by geologists, geotechnical engineers, and environmentalists, or just for drilling water wells by farmers, contractors, Do-it-yourselfers, and others.
