Description: This is a very cool stud finder for decorate construction and personal using. Stud Finder Feathers: - STUD mode: detect wooden beam ,joist in drywall up to 1.2 inches . - METAL mode: detect metal pipes ,rebars etc up to 1.57 inches . - DEEP mode: detects wood and metal parts located particularly deep up to 1.77 inches . - AC mode: detects AC live wire up to 2.36 inches . - Low battery indicator - Battery :1x9V battery（Not include） Easy to use Stud Finder Scanner: Step 1: Power on the device , and choose the scanning mode you want to detect . Step 2: Place the device flat on wall first. Then press and hold the "PUSH" button at the side of the device , and keep the unit still until calibration is complete(1-2 seconds). When calibration is complete, the unit will sound a short beep and the display bars will be cleared . Step 3: While still holding on the "PUSH" button ,move the stud finder on the desired surface to scan and detect for studs , metal beams , pipes ,AC wire etc . Step 4 : When the device detected an object , it will beep continually and a peck shape will also display on the LCD screen .Trouble shotting : Insert the battery,but the device can not work If you changed a new battery and it still didn't work , it maybe the product has not been completely discharged .Please install the battery in reverse direction for 3 seconds , and repeat this twice ,then correct the installation .It is not sensitive to detect ac 1.The measuring range for alternating current is 85-240 volt , sometimes the alternating current will influenced by environment , humidity or others which will also influence the measuring accuracy .2.If you know that there are lines in a particularly location, but you can not find them with the sensor in "AC" mode, then use "METAL" mode. Electrical lines may be shielded by metal cladding.
