The SpeedHex program is a unique and interchangeable family of products revolving around the hex connector system utilizing a vast selection of handles and accessories. From computer to automotive repairs, home improvement projects and everything in between, SpeedHex is your one stop solution that is compatible with all 1/4 inch and 5/16 inch hex shank accessories. The SpeedHex system also works on any power tool you already have in your toolbox that uses a standard 1/4 inch hex ball connector. Loading an accessory into the handle is quick and easy. Push the connector collar outwards and insert accessory into the handle, release handle collar to lock accessory into connector. All files are made of ANSI rated carbon steel, single cut or double cut for variable metal material removal. The 5/16 inch hex shank ends fit into multiple SpeedHex handles. Files are available in all the popular shapes: round, mill, flat, half-round, plus specialty such as slim, x-slim, chain saw as well as a file cleaner attachment. The 2 piece slim and x-slim files are single cut for gradual material removal. These are used for filing saws with 60 inch angle saw teeth. The slim taper file is recommended for 7 and 8 point handsaws. The x-slim taper file is recommended for 9 point handsaws.
