This 33oz tool is perfectly balanced to put the weight near the head to aid in single strike fastening. ¾” magnetic hex head is easily replaced using part number TP02087. Magnetic hammers are designed to deliver a single blow to a nail that is held in place by the magnet. If a second blow is needed to fully seat the fastener then the hammer should be reversed and the non-magnetic face of the hammer head used. Striking a nail that is only partially driven with the magnetic face of the hammer will permanently damage it.
