Designed for precise application of torque to help prevent over-torquing of fasteners and other precision components. When the Inch Pounds of the Limiter is reached, the limiter "spins" preventing further torque from being applied. Designed to be small, lightweight, and portable, the Fix It Sticks torque limiter - large or small - are designed to be the perfect torque accessory for your range / field kit. Any Fix It Sticks torque limiter fits into any standard 1/4" bit driver, and accepts any standard 1/4" bit, for the utmost flexibility. They are used for tightening scope mounts and rings to the correct specification. Due to their ease and simplicity, they also make a great addition to your home and shop. The torque limiters are designed to "spin" when torque is reached. This "spin" prevents any additional torque from being applied, insuring that your fastener is torqued to the correct specification. The torque limiters are offered in a whole number of values from 4 inch-pounds up to 80-inch pounds. The beauty of the torque limiters is allowing you to achieve correct torque every time. Simply insert the desired torque limiter into the T-Way Wrench (is sold separately). Put the bit into the torque limiter. Next turn the screw until you have reached the proper torque value, at which point the bit will stop turning and the torque limiter will continue while making a clicking sound. Be aware that your higher torque values, such as 60-inch lbs. and up, will not click. They will just continue turning without turning the screw.
