Use Palmgren's 2-7/16 inch general purpose angle vise to set up at any vertical angle between 0 and 90 degrees. With four bolts and two side plates, this general purpose Palmgren vise replaces awkward clamps and wedges, leaving you with more time to get the job done. The index collars are graduated in 0.1 mm increments for extremely accurate results. Made from 30,000 PSI tensile strength, FC25 fine grade cast iron, this vise will not slip or break under pressure. Palmgren's line of general purpose grade vises not only offer strength and security, but extreme accuracy as well. The bases and bed are parallel to 0.002" so you can get the job done right the first time. The fixed jaw is grooved and the moveable jaw is smooth to improve grip without any risk of damage to your workpieces. The center of this general purpose grade vise is open for holding work through body of vise. With a jaw opening of 2.5 inches and a throat depth of 1.5 inches, this general purpose vise is ideal for smaller jobs where you need the strength while being able to maintain the potentially delicate features of your workpiece.
