Nickel Anode- 3.94"x0.3"(Diameter) Nickle Features

  • ✔HIGH QUALITY RAW MATERIAL: The nickel anode(SSPN-0009) here is Ni200 standard, it's purity is 99.6% or higher. (Pure nickel is magnetic at or near room temperature.)

  • ✔Length x Diameter: 3.94"x0.3"(Approx. 100x8mm); Length measurement error: ±0.04". Net weight: 1.7 oz.

  • ✔FEATURE: Nickel electroplating creates a corrosion-resistant coating that will protect your project from oxidizing and rusting. In thicker platings, it can also make the object magnetic.

  • ✔APPLICATION: If you are hoping to achieve the bright, shiny appearance and give your projects a nice corrosion-resistant layer, nickel electroplating is your best choice. And the process relies on the use of SHONAN 99-percent pure nickel.

  • ✔GUARANTEE: We only offer pure nickel anode, and test all of our nickel products to ensure that you are getting the high-quality pure nickel anode.

About Nickel Anode- 3.94"x0.3"(Diameter) Nickle

Nickel electroplating is a process of depositing nickel onto a metal part. Parts to be plated must be clean and free of dirt, corrosion, and defects before plating can begin. To clean and protect the part during the plating process, a combination of heat treating, cleaning, masking, pickling, and etching may be used. Once the piece has been prepared, it is immersed in an electrolyte solution and is used as the cathode. The nickel anode is dissolved into the electrolyte to form nickel ions. The ions travel through the solution and deposit on the cathode. Nickel electroplating offers a high luster finish, corrosion protection, and wear resistance. In the automotive industry, nickel can be found on bumpers, rims, exhaust pipes, and trim. Other applications include hand tools and household items such as lighting and plumbing fixtures, wire racks, firearms, and appliances.
