About Paint-Guard Mold And Mildew Defense Paint Additive

PAINT-GUARD MOLD DEFENSE ADDITIVE is a liquid solution that is mixed into water-based paints and coatings to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew. PAINT-GUARD provides an easy and long-lasting solution to fungi growth on walls, ceilings, soffit, fascia, and siding. PAINT-GUARD is made from environmentally friendly materials that are proven to neutralize fungal growth. Mix it into paint and coatings to keep harmful microorganisms from propagating on painted surfaces. Directions for use: Shake or agitate well before use. Pour one bottle (15 FL OZ) PAINT-GUARD into five gallons of water-based paint (3 FL OZ or 3 pumps PAINT-GUARD per gallon of paint). Mix thoroughly using a stir stick or paint mixer. It is efficient to mix PAINT-GUARD into host coating during the tinting process, but it is not necessary. Once adequately mixed, apply treated coating with brush, roller, or conventional spray equipment. Follow the coating manufacturer guidelines on application process and required PPE.
