Each bit is manufactured to exacting specifications and features a split point that starts on contact with no walking or skating, eliminating the need for a center punch. BOSCH black oxide bits offer superior durability, speed and selection to support most general-purpose applications. From the Manufacturer When trades people need clean, accurate holes in wood for pipe, conduit or tubing, they reach for a self-feeding bit. Bosch Power Tools and Accessories redesigned their self-feeding bit line for faster and easier cutting, even in wet wood. Bosch now offers 13 bits ranging in size from 1-Inch to 4-5/8-Inch in diameter. All bits are equipped with a replaceable coarse threaded tip that draws the bit into the wood for consistently more accurate holes. Deep gullets prevent the bit from binding before breakthrough. Each bit is accompanied by a replacement kit that includes an additional threaded screw tip, a set screw and hex wrench.
