Push the ON/ OFF button to switch the sensor on. 2. Press UP/ DOWN button to choose the scanning mode you want to detect. 3. Place the device flat on wall first. Then press and hold the push button at the device's left side, till the unit sounds a short beep "BI BI" 4. Still hold the "PUSH" button, move the stud finder on the desired surface to scan. Note: If you cannot scan the object from left to right, please try to scan up and down. 5. When the device detected an object, it will beep continually and a peck shape will also display on the LCD screen. Note: 1. Don't use it to detect alternating voltage in non-insulated or exposed line. 2. If the stud finder doesn't work, probably the product has not been completely discharged yet. Please install the battery in reverse direction for 3 seconds (repeat 3 times) ,then correct the installation. 3. Battery not included.
