Safe and secure mount won’t work itself loose like thumbscrew clamp mounted brackets nor will it kick over like ground stake mounts. Temperature and impact resistant Matte finish ABS polymer that won't rust, peel or corrode. Mounts hold the pole 1.3” from the railing/fence surface and the bottom mount has a drain hole to allow water to drain away from the pole bottom preventing rust.
