Solitaire game based on the Hornet Leader game system, focused on engagements including the US F4U Corsair & other naval aircraft in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Provides 2 campaigns covering the Solomons from Fall 1942-Spring 1944. Player decides upon the aircraft to use for a mission, including the Corsair but also possibly B-17, B-25, Dauntlesses, and others, each with unique advantages & disadvantages. This game enhances the tactical options available while over the target. Basically a solitaire game but can be played cooperatively with others. 400 well-illustrated cards, 9 countersheets.
