About Exodus Proxima Centauri Board Game
Exodus: Proxima Centauri (Revised Edition) is the reprint of their previous hit, Exodus: Proxima Centauri with updated graphical design and some changes to the core gameplay, reducing the playing time and increasing the fun factor. Besides the new improved graphical appearance, they adapted Exodus: Proxima Centauri to fit into a standard box size. While keeping the same amount of components, they worked a lot on the game ergonomics and the look of the game, making it fit into a smaller box while providing better quality components. The player boards that used to be made of thick paper are now made of cardboard, their size increased from a standard A4 to an astounding 29.4 x 29.4 cm (11 x 11 inches), incorporating the spaceship blueprints. Damage, population, and movement tokens are now stored on the blueprints instead of the player board, reducing the number of components on the hex map. And these are just two examples. The theme of the game remains unchanged. The game, inspired by Stanislaw Lem's "The Magallanic Cloud," brings to life a new universe marked by a fierce power struggle. Humanity is building a new civilization on the ashes of a dying race, the centaurs, after the Earth was destroyed in a nuclear holocaust. Exodus: Proxima Centauri (Revised Edition) remains a complete civilization game for experienced players, who enjoy immersing themselves in a new universe and fighting for supremacy in a thematic and flavorful game.
