This kit is designed for changing out the rear axle from the factory weak Dana 35 to the extra strong Ford 8.8. This incorporates the factory control arms and track bar for ease of installation. Requires welding. Making a 1 piece mounting tab with a built-in gusset will increase the strength substantially. And it saves time over installing single tabs every time. If you are an installer, you need every time saver you can get to decrease work backlog and increase efficiency for better profit, and so much better when it is stronger too. These make tab placement accurate, easy, and fast, period. These brackets are more than twice the thickness of your factory brackets, resulting in a strong and almost "bulletproof" mount.
