About Jacob's Cattle Bean - 50 Seeds
(Phaseolus vulgaris) Maroon-spotted beans have a cute, cattle-like appearance. Plants are healthy and vigorous, producing an abundance of long pods, each containing 6-8 beans. Pods are easy and fun to shell, a great past-time for a cold winter's night. Beans have excellent cooking qualities and great flavor. Well-suited for both baked beans and chili. Bush habit. 90 days to harvest. 50 seeds/pkt. CULTURE: After danger of frost has passed, sow seeds 4-6" apart, 1" deep in rows 24-36" apart. Under ideal conditions, germination will occur in 7-10 days. For highest yield, harvest regularly. Avoid touching plants while leaves are wet as this can spread disease.
