This water powered backup sump pump, including battery powered high water ALARM, is mounted on the ceiling above the sump, not in the sump itself, keeping it clean and dry until needed. Uses water pressure from your home water supply to pump water from your sump! High quality, durable materials and a completely hydraulic float and valve system for reliable, long-lasting operation. Suitable for use with Radon covers. Reliable Back Up Sump Pump for most homes. Fact is: a back-up sump pump is needed in every home. You must supply the water pipe and fittings to supply water to the pump as well as 1" PVC pipe for the suction from the bottom of the sump to the pump on the ceiling. Make sure you can fill a 5 gallon bucket at your outside hose spigot, without the hose, in less than 40 seconds for this pump so you know you have enough water flow to feed it properly.
