About FoilMount Standard
The FoilMount is a universal hydrofoil track system, this means that you can put a hydrofoil on just about any board you already own. The FoilMount uses a specially designed 3M adhesive tape to stick to the bottom of your board. It will accommodate any foil that uses the 90mm track system (this is industry standard). It is also an easy way to fix a broken track system. You can also retrofitting boards with through bolt holes to give them the adjust-ability of a sliding track system. The FoilMount can be removed but cannot be reused. It is very easy to install, just prep the surface with alcohol, peel the tape backing, and stick! This listing is for the Ridge Mount FoilMount, which has a cutout down the middle to accommodate a bottom ridge on the board that is being mounted. The FoilMount requires a flat surface to mount. To check your location, use a straight edge or level on the surface of the area you wish to install the FoilMount. At a distance of 9.5" side-to-side and 13.5" front-to-back there should be no gap between the straight edge and the board. If using the ridge-mount version each side of the slight ridge needs to be flat with no double or single concave. It is suitable for most SUP boards, hydrofoil boards, Skim boards, Surfboards. The FoilMount package includes: 4 high strength M8 stainless steel slider nuts, 1 set of 4 flat head M8x16mm bolts for Slingshot and most other foils, 1 set of 4 flat head M6x12mm bolts for Takuma and Naish hydrofoils, 1 set of 4 pan head M8x20mm bolts for Moses and older Liquid Force foils, it also includes instructions and installation supplies.
