• Reusable & Washable: Use the warmth of your hands to soften the eco friendly food wrap. This will allow you to form it over a bowl, container, or piece of food. As the wrap cools, it creates a seal and stores food naturally. When you are done, hand wash with mild soap & cold water (avoid hot water, raw meat and seafood), and place on your dish rack to air dry. Avoid microwaves and hot temperatures.v

• DURABLE: Your Beeswax wraps can last for a year (depending on how well you take care of it). If they start to crease and wear out, all you have to do is re-wax them. Simply grab another pre-mixed DIY gingerbread man block & repeat the process.

Description We have made thousands of beeswax wraps over the years. We know the process through and through, and wanted to pass on some helpful tips: Included in the kit is a free sample size of our Pinon pine salve (sweet almond oil, coconut oil, Pinon Pine resin, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, & Beeswax). Apply this to your fingers in the beginning of the process to reduce stickiness. Please note that stickiness is normal and part of the process. Use 100% cotton or muslin food grade fabric (not included). Thicker clothes require more wax, but on average, one beeswax block will cover six 13’’X14’’ clothes. Use two squares for extra cling! Our kit comes with six .50 oz squares, one stir stick and a free sample of Pinon Pine Salve (packaging may vary). Our DIY beeswax wrap kit is a great craft for the whole family. It is fun, simple and an easy way to teach your kids the value of zero waste and eco friendly habits. We recommend using recycled equipment not intended for use with food once project is completed.
