(responsibly, of course.) Created by Sommeliers for the rest of us, this game transforms cricket-worthy wine tastings into a blind tasting board game perfect for Saturday night shenanigans. Sommify’s creators built the game as a way for studying for the Somm exam, and players get to guess real questions about the grape and origin of their friends' mystery wines. Is it a Cabernet from the Burgundy region 1945? Or a box of red from the booze store down the street in Philly? Toss in some accents and you’re all winners. Skip the intimidation factor and enjoy wine the Sommify way. In the game, the “Somm” reveals clues about the concealed mystery wines players have contributed. Players unlock Cellar Doors on the board by guessing common wine characteristics (Acidity, Tannins, etc.) to move closer to the final call zone and declare the mystery wine (and, we guess, world domination.) Players score points by pre-calling the wine correctly and by guessing the wine on the board. Multiple rounds and wines are involved, and point-leaders will most likely be thereon known as the “best blind tasters in the universe.”
