It has a dual type K thermocouple input with differential temperature functions (T1, T2, T1-T2) and a built-in, non-contact voltage detector with an LED alert. It has a DC µA multimeter function for the HVAC flame rod current measurements, data hold and a fast peak hold of current surges during the motor startup process. It is a 40,000 count multimeter to use with functions for DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, and frequency for high resolution over wider ranges. It measures motor capacitors to 40,000µF, has a 1.25" jaw opening for conductors up to 500MCM and has a rugged double molded housing. This meter has auto power off with an audible alert and a disable function as well as autoranging with a manual override. The Extech EX613 400A Clamp Meter + Dual Type K Inputs + IR Thermometer comes complete with a CAT III-600V rating, double molded test leads, one 9V battery, two Type K bead wire probes and a carrying case.
