The Armstrong Floor Clock by Howard Miller has a Cherry Bordeaux finish. Swan-neck pediment: bookmatched, olive ash burl overlay, turned rosettes, urn finial. Brass dial: intricate corner spandrels and center disk, silver chapter ring with brass Arabic numerals, astrological blue moon phase with pierced star pattern. Brass pendulum and weight shells. Beveled glass. Illuminated case. Mirrored back panel. Howard C. Miller founded the company back in 1926, at the age of 21, and is based out of Zeeland, Michigan. Even though Howard Miller understood the need to create products that would be steeped in quality and value, he expected nothing less than the best.
