Product Description How does a virtuous young woman who is one of God’s own chosen people deal with an undesirable future determined by the plans of a tyrant? Hadassah knows glorious promises that fill the scriptures. She knows the history of God’s deliverance and power to those who are His. But now she is abducted and trafficked into a pagan palace and society. Her future looms as shattered dreams and no hope for recovery becomes her life. Where is the God of Israel? This new historical novel based on the Bible’s book of Esther explores her battle with faith when reality seems to contradict scriptural promises, and when the most evil of circumstances are forced upon innocent, virtuous young woman. The Hidden Star of Yehudah is not written as a romance novel, but rather to inspire believers in God to trust Him when faced with the plot of the enemy to belittle faith, shatter hope, destroy lives, and the wonderful future promised by God to His own. It is written to be appropriate for teens and adults and useful for a study group on the book of Esther. Review I finished reading "The Hidden Star" (twice actually). It is absolutely awesome! I have never been so blessed so many times. I am convinced that this book will encourage the faith of everyone who reads it, despite the conditions of the world today! I loved the humor, the love, the intimacy, the fear that connected the characters with us today. I am thankful that this book has defined totally our God! It is an exciting and smooth read. Tastefully presented. Overall on a 5 star review, I rate it 5. Vicki Aycock I've done a lot of editing, and this book fascinated me immediately. I loved what I was reading! Encouraged the author to publish! Terrific! Dorothy Easterly In The Hidden Star of Yehudah the Sovereign Lord deals in the everyday lives of His chosen people to bring about His divine will and purpose. He is active in all our lives. That was encouraging to me. The vivid descriptions allowed me to slip into the pages and walk the streets of Shushan, as well as the corridors of the palace. The book weaves together enough scripture, facts, fiction, suspense and just enough imagination to bring alive a beautiful story that will keep the reader intrigued and turning the pages to see what happens next.
