From the Manufacturer From the successful range of historic race cars, this 1966 Daytona competitor joins the stable of over twenty Scalextric GT40 cars and fills an important historic place in the history of GT40 cars. Our extensive Le Mans issues are now balanced with the Daytona car driven by Donahue and Hansgen. The Ford GT40 MKII, chassis P1031, was sold to Carroll Shelby and prepared for the 1966 Daytona 24-Hour in February where it finished 3rd raced by Holman and Moody team by drivers Walt Hansgen and Mark Donohue.
