It shares a similar texture and surface to Malaysian driftwood but with much more knots, tangles and overall character. Like other aquarium driftwoods, Pacific Wood may soften the water and leach tannins into the water column, creating a slight tint that may be easily reduced and removed with consistent aquarium maintenance.
